he Empeiria project (lat. experience) forces us to go into much deeper waters of our imagination and abstract thinking. It has a very strong parallel with the avant-garde of the 20th century, both visually and conceptually. Like the avant-garde of the 20th century, Hahlushka’s work is created in a period when society at its peak is anxiously anticipating an uncertain future, which can also be a precipitous fall. Prague is flooded with huge development projects, technology is developing at a frenetic speed and art is moving more and more beyond its limits. The Empeiria project is clearly inspired by the Bauhaus school of art, especially the design expression and theatrical costumes of the Triadisches Ballet performance by Oskar Schlemmer, who used to teach at the Bauhaus school. Each output of the project is the result of comprehensive dramaturgy and detail, where the author and her team combine classic photography with video art and 3D elements. Let yourself be drawn into the world of the avant-garde responding to the chaotic dynamics of contemporary (and not only) artistic events.
